Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. (Ecclesiastes 3:11-12 NLT)
Sometimes we go through life thinking in ways that separate us. Due to miscommunication or wrong thinking, we humans tend to think we must live our lives independent of one another. We make a decision someone doesn’t care about us or we rebel against things that happen. Whether we are Christian or non Christian, human behavior is the same. Ten years pass. Twenty years pass. Then one day, you get a call. Your mom passed.
So you gather as a family to pay your respects with brothers and sisters you barely kept in touch with. All the years of pain are suspended at this time as you say goodbyes to your mom.
It’s then you find out that everyone of you had a similar story. Everyone of you had pain and anguish through the years. You begin sharing your childhood stories, your stories of pain and you realize that in this moment you are free from it all. With open hearts and revelations that allowed the healing to begin you promise one another that you’ll stay in touch.
Some of you might be skeptical of God’s hand, some of you know the miracle of healing is His Way. In His time, this is a moment of Love and grace, the miracle of God’s glory shining down. Healing a family, loving you as you begin this journey.
I am the Lord. When the time comes I will make it happen. Isaiah 66:22
The word of God gives hope, even at the hardest times of letting a loved one go, in between the tears and the pain, there is laughter, there is joy, and there is a light that shines amongst you. Guiding you through, giving you strength, and in this moment you realize life isn’t meant to be alone. You are loved beyond measure. You are cared for. You are connected to glory. This is heaven on Earth. In his time, He makes all things beautiful.
Prayer: In these moments, Lord, may our hearts be open to receive your love and blessings. May our eyes be fixed on you as you show us your Light in our darkness. Thank you for your grace, mercy, and love which carries us
